Lights, Camera, Action: Using Actors to Teach Managers Coaching Skills

This spring, the Leadership Coaching Series will debut a new process using local actors to help managers learn coaching skills for their employees. As part of an ongoing focus on experiential learning to train leaders, the goal is to help managers prepare for a broad range of potential employee personalities and responses.

Competency-Based User Group Meeting

Once a month Success Labs is facilitating a “user group” meeting of local companies in various stages of competency-based leadership development initiatives.  The group serves both as a source of information and a sounding board for participants.  The March meeting attendees included Community Coffee Company, Honeywell, Albemarle, The Shaw Group and Jacob’s Engineering.

Manufacturing & Construction Industry Leadership Development Program

Albemarle, Honeywell, Jacobs Engineering, PCS Nitrogen, and Shaw Corporation have partnered with Success Labs to design an industry specific Leadership Coaching Series. The program is designed for technical types in leadership roles and focuses on a combination of people skills and next level leadership skills including: critical coaching skills, teamwork, influence, creative and strategic competencies. The first industry based Leadership Coaching Series is scheduled to start this summer.
